Versa Test Heat Detector Tester Kit (VT694-16) 16' Fiberglass Extendable Pole

The HEAT DETECTOR TESTER™ functionally tests ALL mechanical and electronic self-restoring, fixed temperature and rate-of-rise, or rate-compensated heat detectors in the 135ºF to 190ºF range. Finally, dispense with Ladders, Heat Guns, Heat Lamps, Hair Dryers, Extension Cords, or other Prescriptions for Failure. Use the Versa Test Poles to reach as high as 30'.

 The Head Pads, when wetted with the provided Saline Solution (Non Hazardous Material) from the Syringe, will generate the heat needed to activate the heat detector. The Heat Pad will typically last about 5-15 minutes* (at times as much as 20-25 minutes) by simply repeating these water applications.

*   Times are approximate since ambient temperature and conditions will effect the Heat Pads length of time to maintain temperatures.

Kit does not include any extension poles. Use any Versa Test poles with this kit.

Maximum Extension:  17 feet: for additional reach, add a VP-4X 4ft Extension for an extended reach of 21 feet.

Instructions:

• Attach Heat Detector Head to end of pole with provided adapter
• To lock/unlock, depress lock button and twist slightly in opposite direction until lock button aligns with hole and snaps together.
• Place HP94 Heat Pad on ‘V’ cup and soak with 2 oz of Saline Solution. 
• Extend Pole to within 6” of detector until unit activates
• Remove upon activation to clear alarm.
