Micro Alkaline LR44 batteries are compact, light and have a nominal voltage
of 1.5V. The LR batteries are less expensive than silver oxide batteries and are
usable with a wide variety of equipment. Applications where LR batteries are
suitable include electronic calculators, games, clocks, watches, measuring
instruments and remote controllers.
